Did you know that donkeys are great protectors? They can protect farmland from predators like coyotes, and unwelcome scavengers. While they’re not big fans of dogs (too scary!), they socialize with the cats and visitors. They even let the cats sit on the fence and play with their ears!

They were adopted and rehabbed by two kind souls before making their home at Lemon Lane. They’ve adjusted perfectly to life on the farm and even know exactly when it’s time for breakfast...they will bray to make sure Amy knows it’s time too. If you listen closely at 8am sharp, you may just hear them bray!
